On liberation day May 5th 2017, Bastiaan was on stage on the Amstel during the live broadcasted concert. Every artist had committed to a veteran. Bastiaan, himself a veteran from Iraq, sang the aria of Nabucco, the story that also takes place in that region. He had asked his mates from that time who were still working daily with their PTSD at the Dutch Marines Rowing Challenge to be part of his performance. In order to draw attention to them, but also to honor them for what they have done for society. For this he came up with the concept that you can see in this fragment. Click on this link.
